Welcome To The 2012 Spielman Gridiron Classic
Chris Spielman has created a series of over #100 statewide annual high school football games known statewide as the Spielman Gridiron Classic, which will take place on weekends throughout the 2012 high school football season. The games showcase local high school teams and create community awareness about the great work being done in our local area communities by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.
This event is a wholesome experience to raise money for the different booster groups that support high school extra-curricular activities with everything from "Pink-Outs" to cookouts. All of the monies raised by the local high school Boosters will be divided equally between the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research and the local Booster groups themselves.
When your high school signs up to participate your Athletic Director will be given the Spielman Playbook to assist the school's Booster groups in raising money and awareness for the event and the Booster groups as well. All your AD has to do is fill out this form to register for the event.
We will be promoting the event statewide through TV, Radio and Social Networks as well as though our corporate and individual sponsors. The participating schools will have the opportunity to be represented in the media blitz that will precede the games as well as to promote their individual games in their local communities.
Chris Spielman will personally come out to the school that raises the most money for the event to host a school assembly to inspire students to get involved in their local community and to award a scholarship in honor of his late wife, Stefanie Spielman.
The goal of the Spielman Gridiron Classic Weekend is to raise $100,000 for Breast Cancer Research. So engage your school in this coordinated statewide event to defeat breast cancer by filling out the contact form , and as Chris says, "Together, We Can Win!"
